IPL 2020 Fixtures Announced; Delhi Capitals Face KXIP In Their First Game

The #Dream11 IPL fixtures have been announced today on September 6, here in UAE as we get ready to meet KXIP in the game that has come to be known as the #NorthernDerby of the IPL.

It has been a frenzied last 20 days with all the IPL teams checking-in to UAE for the 2020 edition. Regular training following a week’s quarantine for all teams was mandatory and Delhi Capitals, having ensured strict following of protocols in their base in Dubai (Hotel Palace Downtown), has adapted well to the bio-secure bubble being adhered to for the tournament.

Fans all over the world breathed a sigh of relief on the night of 2nd August as the governing council made it official that the 13th season of the tournament will go ahead in the United Arab Emirates and commence on September 19.


The much-awaited fixtures for IPL 2020 have been released. The 53-day tournament that has the Final scheduled on November 10, will have 10 afternoon matches starting at 15:30 IST, with the rest of the games to take place at 19:30 IST. The matches will be played at three venues in the UAE with DC playing 7 games in Dubai, 4 in Abu Dhabi and 3 in the iconic stadium of Sharjah.

The dates and venues for the playoff games are yet to be released.
