ABOUT DELHI CAPITALS ACADEMY
The Delhi Capitals Academy is an initiative of the Delhi Capitals IPL team, started with the objective of identifying and grooming India’s future cricketing talent. We offer a range of cricket training programmes at multiple venues across Delhi NCR to guide students into the basics of cricket across age group. Whether your child is just starting out, or needs that extra push to give you a much-needed professional edge – Delhi Capitals Academy has got it covered.
The Delhi Capitals Talent Search wing, which is headed by former India cricketer Syed Saba Karim works closely with the Delhi Capitals Academy to ensure state-of-the-art facilities are being provided to the budding cricketers. The Delhi Capitals Academy is working tirelessly to attract more and more young and talented cricketers. We make sure that professional coaches guide the students, enhance their skills and give them as much exposure as possible.
We understand the essence of personal touch in coaching and emphasize on creating an atmosphere of trust and understanding between our coaches and students, while ensuring a great practice environment.
The DC Academy is proud to have coached and nurtured some of the finest emerging talents across Delhi NCR, who have gone on to shine bright at the domestic stage with participation and performances in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, Ranji Trophy as well as being rostered into an IPL team.
Enrolling in one of our programmes also allows students to participate in our tournament – the DC Junior League, and a possible chance to interact with DC players too.
After nurturing great talent across Delhi NCR for over 5 years, we now plan to expand throughout the country and abroad with a vision to provide uniform and best practices to all budding cricketers. The Delhi Capitals Academy along with the Delhi Capitals Talent Search wing is looking to reach out to 10,000 children in the next five years with a specific emphasis on the emerging cricket-playing nations so that we have a larger pool of players. The vision is to help cricketers to hone their skills and also to offer them as much exposure as possible and create an environment that will help them to grow.
