It was a difficult night for the Capitals in New Delhi as they went down to Royal Challengers Bengaluru by nine wickets.

RCB won the toss and chose to bowl first, striking immediately. Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were exceptional in the powerplay, removing six wickets and reducing Delhi to 13 runs early on.

Abishek Porel, coming in as the Impact Player, showed fight in the middle and found brief support from David Miller and Kyle Jamieson. Despite their efforts, Delhi Capitals were bowled out for 75.

RCB made light work of the chase, reaching the target in under seven overs with nine wickets in hand.
Delhi Capitals now travel to Jaipur, where they will face Rajasthan Royals on Friday, 1st May.
