The Delhi Capitals enter their third game of the season on the back of a commanding 6-wicket win against the Mumbai Indians. The boys in blue and red will be looking to make it three wins out of three as they take on the Gujarat Titans at home at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Delhi’s clinical bowling, led by Mukesh Kumar restricted the opposition to only 162 runs. Sameer Rizvi, who was the POTM for the second game in a row, scored an audacious knock of 90 runs in 51 balls to push past Mumbai and secure back-to-back wins for his side.

In the 7 matches the two teams have played against each other, Gujarat holds the narrow edge, winning 4 games. DC will be aiming to level their record against the Titans.

Last season, this matchup treated fans to a KL Rahul masterclass, as he scored an outstanding 112 of 65 balls. He enjoys playing against GT, averaging nearly 50 against them in just 6 matches. His opening partner Pathum Nissanka will also be on show after a good knock against MI in his previous game. DC’s pace trio of Mukesh Kumar, T. Natarajan and Lungi Ngidi will once again look to test the opponent’s batting.

With a bowling attack functioning in high gear and a middle order capable of accelerating under pressure, the Capitals will be determined to continue their unbeaten streak and build upon their strong start to the season.
