The Indian Premier League 2025, after a short break, is back, and we head straight away into an intense playoffs race. Delhi Capitals, who need at least two more wins in three matches, will take on Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, May 18.

We have accumulated 13 points in 11 matches so far, which includes one abandoned match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The match against Punjab Kings, which was suspended midway through the first innings, will be replayed from the outset on May 24.

While the last few results didn’t work out well in our favour, there have been some great positives to take in each of those games. Ashutosh Sharma and Tristan Stubbs pulled off a terrific partnership against the run of play against SRH, while Faf du Plessis was back among runs against KKR.

Skipper Axar Patel has been among the runs and wickets, while KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav and Vipraj Nigam have made crucial contributions.

There have been a few changes to our squad for the remainder of this season. Mitchell Starc, Donovan Ferreira and Jake Fraser-McGurk will not be available for the rest of the season. Mustafizur Rahman will be joining us as a temporary replacement, adding some more firepower to our bowling attack.

Sediqullah Atal, our replacement for Harry Brook, has also joined the squad and is all set for the new challenge in our Red and Blue.

Our last outing against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad resulted in a thrilling fixture, which the Titans just about edged. The Shubman Gill-led unit is currently in a comfortable position with eight wins in 11 matches.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the fans who have supported us in large numbers throughout the campaign. We look forward to welcoming you once again at Qila Kotla, one last time this season.
