The tournament is officially in the business end, with three teams already eliminated and the others chasing the elusive dream with everything they've got. Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, both teams seeking their first TATA IPL title, find themselves in a good position so far.

Delhi Capitals have travelled to the scenic venue of Dharamsala to face Punjab Kings in a potentially crucial fixture for both sides. Punjab Kings find themselves with 15 points in 11 matches, while Delhi Capitals have 13 points in 11.

A victory for either side could mean a step in the right direction, but a defeat could mean an opening for the other teams chasing the playoff spots.

Delhi Capitals had a tricky outing in Hyderabad in their last match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, which ended in a rather anticlimactic way. After Tristan Stubbs and Ashutosh Sharma drove us to a good total with the bat, rain intervened and no further play was possible.

The lower order showed plenty of character, especially the way Tristan Stubbs batted his way out of trouble. Stubbs, the most destructive batter in the death overs since IPL 2024, played the anchor role as the situation demanded when the team was in trouble at 29/5.

Ashutosh Sharma, meanwhile, walked in as an Impact Sub and straightaway unleashed some big blows to help us get to a good total.

This has been a memorable season so far with some tricky bumps along the way. However, the unity in the team and their desire to give their 100% have stood out in every match and once again, in what will be an exciting contest, the Capitals will aim to bounce back.

Punjab Kings are currently third in the points table. The Shreyas Iyer-led team have won seven matches in their campaign so far. It will be a competitive contest, but the Delhi Capitals have consistently shown that with the depth, talent, and determination in this squad, we are more than capable of rising to the occasion.
